We celebrated all VSAA Music art forms (Band, Orchestra, and Vocal) with our inaugural Disco Ball ‘25, a fun outdoor concert to wrap up the school year. We ate, sang, and danced the night away.
A huge thanks to our food partners: El Mas Chingon and The Mobile Scoop Shop.
THANK YOU!
Our VSAA Arts Booster Auction: For the Love of the Arts was a great success! We had amazing performances by our orchestra, band, vocal and dance students along with gorgeous art pieces by our pottery students. The teacher performances brought the WOW factor and we loved it! And our community showed up.
We exceeded our goal and raised $33k to support the enrichment opportunities for our students! Thank you for showing your love to VSAA! If you missed it this year, we hope to see you next year?
If you have a business or connections to a vacation getaway, product or service that you think could strengthen our event next year, please reach out and let us know! We would love to secure business sponsorships to cover our expenses so every dollar raised can go directly to the cause.
With gratitude,
The VSAA Arts Booster Events Committee
The VSAA Arts Booster Club is so thankful to all the volunteers who made our Shine Bright fundraiser so successful - we could not have done this without you! We had crews for making and setting up decorations, food acquisition and service, kitchen help, hot water/beverage production and delivery, ceramics and souvenir sales, booster representation, chaperones, and a clean up crew. The janitorial staff at the event site were surprised there had been an event as we cleaned up so well.
Thank you!
The VSAA Arts Booster Club hosted the Sips and Serenades fundraiser at Burnt Bridge Cellars on October 8. Alumni and students played for our attendees who sipped on wine, bid on auction items, and bought raffle tickets for desserts. The event raised around $9,000 for the Orchestra and the April 2024 trip to compete in an event at Disneyland.
The March concert was the perfect place for Boosters to kick off selling concessions! Funds raised will help Mr. Brockman purchase instruments, plan future festivals and find guest artists to help students grow musically.
Eighteen VSAA dancers are on their way to the National High School Dance Festival at Point Park College in Pittsburgh. From March 1-5, students will take master classes, audition for summer study and college scholarships, view the outstanding dances from other high school programs around the country, and perform. A dance created by guest artist Andrea Parson, "Wolfstory," was chosen through an adjudication process to be performed at the festival. VSAA dance teacher Jackie Sacks will receive an award for Outstanding Service in the field of dance education while at the festival.
The fundraising efforts through the VSAA Arts Booster Club have made travel to the festival possible. Shine Bright, flower and candy sales, and an auction provided funds needed to support transportation, adjudication fees, and several meals for students. Students, staff, and parents are so very grateful!
Shine Bright was a night for indulging in deserts while enjoying performances from VSAA orchestra, dance, choral and band programs.
For one of the first fundraisers by VSAA Arts Booster Club, volunteers and donors came together in early December to create a magical night. VSAA’s orchestra, dance, choral, and band programs put on festive performances.
More than 100 parents, students and community members attended, generating nearly $4,000 to go toward the arts programs.
Special thanks to Natasha Hass Hauskins, Basil Paulson, and Kasey Brown who collaborated to organize the event.
